Daniel works in WATATAWA’s Fintech and Financial services practice and brings more than a decade of experience in marketing and communications, ranging from events management to media campaigns. His career background gives him a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of in-house marketing teams.
Prior to joining WATATAWA, he headed the brand & communications team at FWD Insurance, where he introduced the Challenger brand to Singapore’s insurance landscape. Before that, he was head of marketing (lines of service and industries) at PwC Singapore, and worked extensively with client teams to leverage communications channels, thought leadership opportunities, events and client engagement platforms to build the PwC brand in Singapore. He also worked at PwC Hong Kong, where he supported projects including PwC’s APEC CEO Summit partnership.
Daniel has also worked for the Singapore Tourism Board, where he supported the launch of the YourSingapore brand, as well as the communications campaign for the inaugural F1 night race in 2008. Before going in-house, Daniel was a writer/ producer with Channel NewsAsia on the morning show “Prime Time Morning”, and a writer for channelnewsasia.com focusing on regional news and interviews.
