Our Team includes:

Chairman Bill Rylance, was formerly head of the Asia-Pacific network and concurrently global vice-chairman of one of the world’s largest public relations consultancies; his experience covers three decades of strategic communications and business leadership in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Bill is based in London.

Managing partner Simon Pangrazio has 25 years of Asia-Pacific experience including leading a regional public relations network. A corporate positioning, financial communications and crisis management specialist, Simon has worked with clients in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. Simon is based in Singapore.

Partner Bryan Matthews has spent 35 years in Asia. A former newspaper and broadcast correspondent, he has led communications programmes for western multinationals targeting Asian markets and Asian organisations seeking global profile. He has also worked with sponsors, bidding committees and organising committees for some of the region’s largest sporting events. Bryan is based in Manila.

Chief Operating Officer Jeonghwa Ryu has significant experience in senior financial and operational roles in a variety of industries, including the marketing communications sector, in both Korea and Singapore. Jeonghwa is based in Seoul.

Associate Partner Jo Chew leads a number of WATATAWA’s most significant investor relations and corporate positioning assignments in Southeast Asia. Prior to joining the firm, Jo covered a wide range of issues as a reporter and editor on Singapore’s New Paper and Business Times. Jo is based in Singapore.

Associate Partner, Stephen Robertson, has more than 15 years of consulting experience in Asia-Pacific. As well as expertise in financial communications and crisis and issues management he has led sports marketing, aviation, enterprise technology and tourism and hospitality consulting teams. Stephen is based in Singapore.

Associate Ong Chor Hao specialises in financial communications and investor relations work. He joined WATATAWA from Singapore’s Business Times where he covered a wide range of corporate and economic issues. He has also worked in broadcast media. 

Lynne Lim is a Consultant and joined WATATAWA after graduating with degrees from National University of Singapore and Waseda University. She works with clients in our corporate communications and issues and crisis management practices.

Huifang Hoong is a Consultant and joined WATATAWA after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Sociology from Nanyang Technological University. She works with a number of clients the healthcare, commodities and financial services sectors.
