Laurel Teo

Laurel brings a significant financial and journalism background to our team. Laurel worked as a journalist with The Straits Times and The Business Times before moving into financial communications. She previously headed the Singapore operation of Financial Dynamics and has extraordinary experience in the financial sector advising on some of the region’s largest and most complex cross-border capital market transactions. She has also counseled on major crisis and litigation communications mandates for some of the world’s largest financial institutions and resource companies. Laurel has extensive experience of client assignments in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Laurel’s sporting passion moves at two speeds. She likes to jog in a T-shirt that says: “I only run…so I can eat more chocolate cake.” She also often walks her husband, dragging him on scenic hikes and hill climbing. He has lost two toenails so far.
