Lynn Lee
Associate
Before joining WATATAWA, Lynn spent eight years with The Straits Times. She has written about Singapore’s social, political and economic issues and has travelled extensively to cover the government’s bilateral and regional relationships. Most recently, she was the newspaper’s Indonesia bureau chief. She brings to WATATAWA both a deep knowledge of the Singaporean and Indonesian political and business climates as well as a strong understanding of the broader issues affecting emerging Asian markets. Lynn has a proven track record in project planning and management and is, understandably, accustomed to working to tight deadlines. She holds a BA (Hons) in East Asian Studies and International Relations from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Lynn’s sporting passions are running and vinyasa yoga. She also plays the occasional game of touch rugby and, until recently, played with a mostly-men’s team in Jakarta. She claims they sometimes charitably held back so she could make it to the try-line – but she’s probably making excuses for the guys who couldn’t keep up with her.
